University research parks impact the local area in positive ways.

The BRIC’s unique design facilitates interaction between Baylor faculty’s cutting-edge research in emerging technologies, industry partners working with researchers to solve real-world problems, and small businesses needing help to bring their ideas to the marketplace. By bringing these three groups together, the BRIC stimulates innovation, helps the local community grow, and positively impacts both employment and tax revenue.  Recognizing the positive impact BRIC has on McLennan country, local city governments, private foundations, and economic development interests have been generous in supporting the design, construction, and continuing work of the BRIC.
