BRIC Creates Innovative Start-ups

The collaborations between research and business innovation within the BRIC begin to create the desired results: innovative start-up businesses which locate in Waco.

One example is the 2018 start-up Chariot Innovations which was created by Baylor Mechanical Engineering professor Brain Garner and a group of investors to promoted his patented device that faithfully reproduced the equine motion pattern that has proven so effective in treating autism, Down’s Syndrome, PTSD, multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, and numerous other debilitating conditions.

The BRIC is an essential component in Greater Waco's vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, with everything needed to move STEM-related technologies from idea to market, all under one roof.
