Facility Reservation Criteria
To utilize symposium space and/or common areas in the BRIC, the requesting entity must have approved sponsorship from within Baylor University or be considered an industry partner or stakeholder of the BRIC.
BRIC Symposium spaces and common areas can be reserved to host events during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Event requests during non-business hours must be approved by the BRIC Director's Office.
*No events will be scheduled on Baylor Holidays.
BRIC Event Approval Process:
Each event request will be evaluated on a “case-by-case” basis. These requests must originate from one of three (3) entities:
- Baylor University
- BRIC Industry Partner
- BRIC Stakeholders
*All events held in the BRIC facility must support both the Baylor and BRIC missions and/or be research-related.
*All symposiums are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis, with the exception of the 3 entities listed above, having precedence.

BRIC Stakeholders include, but are not limited to the following:
- Baylor University
- Bellmead Economic Development Corporation
- Cen-Tex African American Chamber of Commerce
- Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
- City of Bellmead
- City of Waco
- Clifton Robinson Family
- Cooper Foundation
- H. Bland Cromwell
- Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce
- McLennan County
- MD Anderson Foundation
- State of Texas
- Texas State Technical College Waco Foundation
- Waco Foundation
- Waco-McLennan County Economic Development Corporation
In the event of a scheduling conflict, the following Baylor University groups will have precedence:
- Office of the President
- Board of Regents
- Office of Vice Provost Research (OVPR)
No sales transactions will be allowed at any BRIC event.
Attendance by media other than Baylor must be coordinated through the Baylor Marketing Department as well as the BRIC Front Office.
