Initial Spaces Ready for Occupancy, BRIC Commences Operations

First Occupants Begin Moving In

In January 2013, the first Baylor researchers begin moving into their new laboratories and offices in the BRIC. Researchers included faculty from Electrical and mechanical engineering researchers and those with the Center for Spatial Research and Center for Astrophysics Space Physics and Engineering Research (CASPER).

Additionally, Baylor faculty from Hankamer School of Business move into the BRIC to offer business-related services for researchers and industry through LAUNCH, an innovative business accelerator (later to be renamed Lab to Market or L2M).
